Graduated in Integrative Cognitive-Behavioral Clinical Psychology, with a special affection for working with children and adolescents.

Her curricular internship experience, in a hospital context, and her professional experience, in a clinical setting, allowed her to encounter a variety of issues – clinical, developmental, and health-related – within these age groups.

Her master's thesis addressed the impact of mindfulness on emotional regulation during adolescence.

She aims to offer individualized support and conduct psychological assessments, providing a welcoming environment of empathy and well-being.


Academic Training and professional experience

Francisca is a full member of the Portuguese Psychological Association ("Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses" - OPP).

She holds a master's degree in Clinical and Health Psychology from the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Lisbon.

She completed her curricular internship at the Dona Estefânia Hospital, and her professional internship at a child psychology practice, where she carried out the following activities: psychological support, psychological assessment, and parental guidance.

She strives to stay updated through scientific readings and training in the field, such as: Communicating with Children and Adolescents; Fears and Anxiety in Childhood; Mindfulness for Children and Adolescents; Interpretation of Children's Drawings; Psychological Counseling with Children and Adolescents.
