Hala Hamdan on Music Therapy
Hi everyone!
I want to invite you to my webinar. My name is Hala Hamdan, and I’m a certified Music Therapist with a Master’s degree, as well as a certified Parent's Counselor. I work at Mensana Mental Health here in Lisbon. I’ve had the privilege of supporting children, teenagers, and adults for over 13 years, in schools, kindergardens, children in special eduction system, hospitals (Onchology and other departments such as Trauma).
My experience has been focused on working with individuals facing neurological disorders, autism, learning challenges, ADHD, anxiety, depression, chronic illness, PTSD and more.
Today, I’ll be discussing how music therapy can provide effective support for these challenges, sharing examples from my practice and exploring how creative arts interventions can help children, teenagers, and adults alike. I’ll also make sure there’s plenty of time for questions, so you can learn more about how music therapy might help you or your loved ones.
I look forward to diving into this topic with you!
